Great food, lovely friendly and helpful staff, and great views from the restaurant

First visit to a local-ish pub. Really impressed. Tastefully decorated - an old building sympathetically restored - lovely dining area, friendly staff who were attentive but not suffocating and incredible food. Outside garden needs a bit of TLC but perfectly useable d as bad we enjoyed watching the swifts come and go feeding their young. A great experience.

Warm welcome. Great service. Good tasty and very well presented. Large portions, left feeling full. After dinner we moved to the garden as it was a nice evening. Garden very pretty

Attractive traditional pub. What we had to eat was very nice. We would have given five stars but they had run out of steak and mushy peas. Waitress was friendly and gave good service. Changed lager pump for us even though she was on her own

A lovely dinner with friends booked just 2 hours before - everything was great service, food and atmosphere.
