Best Romantic Restaurants in Dedham

Food was fantastic as usual. Waitress was perfect.

I really like this pub particularly for its riverside setting (I've only ever sat outside). The Sunday roast we had was good and I'd give it 4 stars. However this is the 2nd occasion out of the 3 times I've had dessert at the pub that I've been quite shocked at the quality. The first time was a truly awful chocolate brownie. This time, two of us ordered 'mixed berry Eton mess' which I thought would be safe enough (how can you ruin something so simple?) but we were presented with 'mixed berry Eton mess sundae' which was mostly vanilla ice cream, with some bits of meringue and maybe a bit of cream and a sickly sweet mixed berry syrup that tasted rather like strawberry jam (no fresh fruit at all) and a slightly stale tasting waffle cone on top. And to charge £9 for that! I will keep coming here because I love the area but it's the last time I'll order dessert. It really lets down the pub.

Great food at a reasonable price, we actually arrived early & were shown to our table with minimal fuss. Definitely worth another visit

Fantastic food! Belly pork was especially delicious!! This place is a gem. So glad we gave it a try even though it wasn’t very busy on a Weds evening. Super chef!
