- LleeChicago / Illinois •3 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 24, 2025The entrees were delicious, sublime. We had salmon, and the scallops. This is fine cuisine and atmosphere. Two big exceptions — furst of all, the wine is very pricey, and oyr red wine was served at about 75 degrees—too warm. We asked for cooler glasses, mentioned the wine was too warm, but we were served wine at the same warm temp … no suggestions to try another wine, etc. At $17 per Glass, we expect an establishment to take better care of their wine. Also we ordered the charcuterie appetizer, at $18. It was very chintzy, with about 4 teeny tiny pieces of gouda, a few pickled onions, pickles (all from a jar—not “made in house”, The two dips were delicious and made in house, but not enough crackers (5) or anything else to be able to enjoy the dips— did you ever try to dip an olive?More infoThe Walrus RoomPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Geneva•4.6
