Best Romantic Restaurants in Markham

Our only disappointment was that our anniversary was not acknowledged. 44 yrs with the same guy deserves some celebration especially since I noted it in our on-line reservation.

Great food great service!!! We went during the week when it first opened at 5 p.m. Make a reservation because the place filled up fast. The ambiance was amazing. Also every patron we came across had a smile on their faces! Food was amazing and the amount of food was worth the price. The drinks were great. Try the Hurricane or the voo doo!!! It was a date night for me and my wife, our first visit and it definitely will not be our last time!

The food was AMAZING! Our server, Shay, was great as well! Very attentive, knowledgeable and made the dinner that much more enjoyable. The environment was familial and friendly. I will definitely be returning 10/10.

Alto brings a touch of class to the south suburbs. The decor is stunning as is the view onerlooking the Thornton quarry. The smoked burrata appetizer with pancetta, pistachios, tomato jam, balsamic sweetly drop peppers delighted the taste buds. The baby gem wedge salad was beautifully presented and tasty. Both wet aged and dry aged prime steaks are available. My wife’s wet aged petite filet was perfectly prepared and delicious as was my dry aged Kansas City steak. For non steak lovers a nice selection of pasta, seafood, and chicken/chops are available. The peanut butter tart was a delight . The pistachio crème brûlée, which was comped for our Anniversary was a symphony of flavor!! All in all a perfect spot to celebrate our 53rd anniversary.
