Me and my daughter visited for the first time at the weekend and we had a wonderful time. Great choice of wine, which from what we tried were spot on, staff were super helpful, experience and friendly, the food we had was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely and chilled, an overall perfect experience and would highly recommend.

The food was simply outstanding. So delicious and cooked to perfection. Glen, the manager that night, was so accommodating and especially kind to the older couple adjacent to us. Thank you. We shall definitely be back when we’re next in the area.

A great way to start a weekend away for a wedding. We booked The Plough as we were staying in the village. Recently refurbished with a selection of beers and ciders from independent producers and quite a local following in the bar. The food was where possible locally sourced, presented well and cooked beautifully, and ate as good as it looked. The wine selection is top drawer, not a selection to maximise the profit mix of a drinks wholesaler supplying the pub, i.e. poor new world wine of poor quality. I had a fab Merlot from Argentina that complemented the steak well. The service was excellent, attentive, friendly but not obtrusive. If you are in the area, this pub and its offering represents good all round value for money.

The staff were amazing great food and a real boon to Cheltenham Festival
