Outstanding fine dining in Aberdeen. Excellent choice of dishes for each course, all imaginatively presented. Exceptionally knowledgeable staff regarding wine pairings for each dish. Offered me to try two wine options to help me decide which to take! Excellent attentiveness to dietary requirements and willingness of the kitchen to adapt certain dishes. Highly recommended!

A delicious 4 course meal with friends. Food was all excellent and delicious, service was attentive and accommodating without being overbearing, pricing was competitive. This would have been 5 stars across the board were it not for the lack of other patrons. This lack of people is not the establishments fault at all, it's a reflection of how difficult it is for the hospitality industry as a whole and such a shame for those like Faffless who are offering a great experience in the heart of Aberdeen. Supporting local has never been more important. I'd recommend going here for drinks and dinner. Faffless have covered all kinds of expectations with a small/sharing plates menu, a more traditional menu with starters, mains and puddings to choose from (fixed price for 4 or 5 courses). Add to that a third menu offering a selection of tinned fish served with breads etc. Something for everyone.

Overall a reasonable meal, but at £23.99 it is not great value. One of the dishes served was meant to be sweet and sour, but the sauce had chillies and was very hot for a sweet and sour dish. There was also a mix up with a curry dish when the order was for lamb curry the server arrived with prawn curry!
