    Lovely venue, the upstairs area is half outside (covered) so lovely for summer evenings. The whole restaurant was full when we visited on a Friday evening so there was a really good atmosphere. Food was amazing, we had the Chateaubriand platter - it was delicious 😋

    On a really hot evening, the friendly staff coped so well! Only one small bar for service which led to some delay but they coped so well. Ate inside and food was well cooked - some dishes not available on the night - happened to be the ones we’d chosen but alternatives were fine. Beer garden was accessed down 2 flights of stairs which I found awkward. Drinks and food for 2 at £54 was good value.
