Die besten Restaurants mit Live-Musik in Cambourne

Went for dinner this week and from the start it was exceptional. The decor was wonderful , staff all very friendly especially our server and the food superb. The blackened cod was the standout as well as the freshly baked apple tart. We will be back again for sure.

The venue, ambience and service was very good during our lunch visit on Friday 25/4/25. I scored lower in some areas as we ordered the Jerk Salmon with rice and peas, which was bland, we could not taste any seasoning. We only had a main course with a still bottle of water and one mocktail that did not taste nice. The bill came to £80 for lunch, which was not value for money. I will visit again for shows and events but will not dine at Soul Mamas again unless the menu is improved

The venue has a lovely ambience but there were a few issues. I'd expect a restaurant with this image and prices to have flawless customer service. On arrival you have to park in an underground car park and pay by the hour for parking, even on a Sunday and when dining at the restaurant - we were only there for just over 2 hours but got charged an extortionate £8. When we found the restaurant (harder than expected from the car park) we were quickly seated and welcomed. Unfortunately the waiter spilled our bottle of prosecco while pouring and just ignored it. We were repeatedly offered to have our water refilled but they never actually did it. The menu changed last minute which was unacceptable for Easter Sunday - I would have picked somewhere else if I knew this was doing its regular menu. The food was fine but slightly outrageous none of the meals we ordered came with carbs like potatoes, chips, rice etc. On the positive side, there were plenty of sustainable vegan options, including a delicious pear tarte tatin for dessert.

Lovely food and better than expected from a 'hotel' restaurant. Hoisin mushrooms were are a real surprise and a definite win. We weren't there for the 'Valentine's Meal' but we got the petals and chocolates anyway which was nice. We would to back. It was a bit cold at first but we mentioned it and things warmed up quickly. Enjoyable experience overall and handy for a pre-cinema meal.
