We had reservations. We arrived early but were seated right away. The waiter explained almost every dish on the menu which was quite helpful. The Clams Casino, Calamari and Raw Oysters appetizers were very good. Our main entrees were the Jumbo Lump Crabcakes, Cornmeal Crusted Rainbow Trout, Lobster Cioppino and Parcel Pasta. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We will definitely return.

Great food, great service, wonderful setting. Noise level was a bit elevated, which is not typical for this restaurant, but they had a private party in a side room that was celebrating,

We love the staff and food at the Mendenhall Inn. Having said that, my choice last night was not my favourite. Stripped Bass. So know not to order that again. (personal choice). We sat on the patio and a few other guests were there also. Juan , the restaurant Manager greeted us by name and showed us to the table. We had requested, the patio. There is a fire pit and xmall lights which add to the ambiance. Jess, our super wait staff was delightful and very knowledgeable, as always. My hub's choices included two appetizers ; Crab Bisque and one other... He enjoyed both. Billy, the bartender now has three mocktails and they are very good! I chose one with cranberry juice, basil and topped up with tonic water. Delicious. My favourite.. We'll be back! Thank you all..

We had the greatest experience at Columbus Inn last night. It is our go to whenever we are in Wilmington, Delaware. We had the pork chop and the trout and it was absolutely delicious. We sat outside and it was a beautiful night our server Joe is outstanding! When we walk through the bar area, it is always a little bit too loud but other than that, it’s our favorite place in town.
