Chefs prepared a meal for each of us of lasagne and half a free range chicken with heirloom carrots and a potato gratin and of course a joy. Chicken was moist and roasted to perfection. Lasagne a flavour bomb. Do yourself a favour and dine here

The food was excellent, best I’ve had at a pub for a while, the venue was warm on a cold night with the fireplace running, it was packed but not too loud. Dining was well above expectations for the price, drinks were reasonably priced. Only issue was I wasn’t given a steak knife with my lamb but my grandmother never owned a steak knife and liked serving well done steaks so I know my way around a butter knife

Really enjoyed the steak night, food was such good quality will definitely be back! Have also had other dishes here and the food is really good!

Such a Special dining experience, excellent service, delicious food, especially enjoyed Ham Hock Eggs Benny. Second time here & will be back.

Great food nicely presented, great friendly service, a great list of wines. You’ll love the restaurant upstairs in the winter sitting next to the fireplace. I look forward to warmer weather when I can sit on the rooftop.
