The courtyard is great on a sunny day and has heaters for the cold ones, and the cabin is home to a roaring fireplace for when it gets really chilly.Whilst reservations are recommended because we fill up quickly, we always keep a few tables aside for walk-ins.

The food was excellent, best I’ve had at a pub for a while, the venue was warm on a cold night with the fireplace running, it was packed but not too loud. Dining was well above expectations for the price, drinks were reasonably priced. Only issue was I wasn’t given a steak knife with my lamb but my grandmother never owned a steak knife and liked serving well done steaks so I know my way around a butter knife

Great food nicely presented, great friendly service, a great list of wines. You’ll love the restaurant upstairs in the winter sitting next to the fireplace. I look forward to warmer weather when I can sit on the rooftop.
