Heritage is family owned and operated by Chef Philip Pretty and sister Lauren Pretty. Our lively indoor dining room was built in 1922 as a craftsman house. Walk inside to an open kitchen, request bar seating to watch us cook over a live fire Santa Maria grill. Located in the Rose Park neighborhood of Long Beach on the corner of 7th & Saint Louis Ave. Heritage Restaurant uses sustainable meat & seafood, and Farmer's Market produce. Growing our own produce at Heritage Farm right up the street. Certified blue, green, and maintain a zero-waste kitchen. One red and green star Michelin awarded. We serve a tasting menu only. We politely decline modifications. Please specify all dietary restrictions/allergies when booking your reservation. Our menu is seasonal, and subject to daily changes. The Attic, an iconic Long Beach staple, was established in 2012 by owner Steve Massis. Situated within an eclectic 1920's craftsman style home. Dining in, is reminiscent of enjoying Sunday supper with family and friends.Inspired by a desire to evolve and further elevate the existing concept, the Attic underwent some exciting changes in the last year. With the guidance and imagination of local designer, Tara Rigi, the interior and exterior were restored to accentuate the craftsman's iconic beauty.The most significant change came in the form of our new chef, Cameron Slaugh, who joined our team near the beginning of 2020. As a newcomer to Long Beach, he finds inspiration from local, seasonal ingredients, and draws on his early beginnings of growing up on a farm. All of which he uses to constantly reimagine our menu, marrying New American cuisine with southern traditions.
