Overall a good meal and we were outside and given good and timely service both for food and drink. The only issue is that we sat at an outside table and there was full sunshine. The outside table umbrella was down so we put it up for reasonable shade, however there was no umbrella safety weight under the table. There was a gust of wind and the umbrella came out of the table and landed on one of our group. Luckily nobody was hurt but I would strongly recommend the addition of umbrella weighted stands below the table to maintain umbrella stability.

I decided to treat my partner and his sister to afternoon tea at Amberley Castle as on the website it looked great, it did not disappoint. The whole experience was exceptional and the afternoon tea was the best I have ever had, we all agreed it was the best. The staff were fantastic, polite, helpful and friendly, we will definitely go there again. I am hoping to actually stay there in the future as the Hotel is in lovely surroundings, well done to all the staff who work there you are doing a great job

First, I was thrilled to book the Fox from our home in NY. Hooray for websites. We’ve eaten at the Fox many times as we visit family nearby. The restaurant provides delicious food and a wide range of drinks. The pub atmosphere is heartwarming to an Anglophile Yank who loves Ted Lasso among other British traditions. Service is friendly and doesn’t rush its patrons. It’s a wonderful place rich with history.

Everything was excellent, service great and food delicious. Will definitely come again xx

Wonderful meal for a friends birthday - we went for a butchers board which was delicious with a selection of well thought out sides and a tripe chocolate dessert - was delicious would definitely visit again, the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a lovely ambiance and the central feature table a great centre to serve from to keep tables free from clutter - very attentive staff would highly recommend!
