- TTimLondon •9 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoGreat place to go before a show at one of the Theatres in the precinct. Quieter than most other restaurants, and the food is relatively plain and simple for the 'older' people who don't like anything spicy (read: anything spicier than salt and pepper). Don't get me wrong the food is tasty, but there are a number of nice simple choices.More infoThe EssencePrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• Melbourne CBD•4.2
- SStephenVIPLondon •8 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoMy wife and I dined at 5:30 ahead of a 7:30 concert at Hamer Hall. The place was about half full. Service was excellent. The food was good, although my lamb shank was a little tough. The happy hour drinks prices before 6pm were appreciated. We would definitely recommend The Barre, the only restaurant currently working at the Arts Centre.More infoThe BarrePrice: Moderate• Modern Australian• Southbank•4.2

The staff were knowledgeable, the wines were amazing and very well priced, the platters were amazing and they even had a vegan platter with 2 types of vegan cheese! Will definitely be returning!More infoThe Cellar Door @ The FarmPrice: Expensive• Winery• Warrandyte•4.8
- IIanMelbourne •1 review4.0Dined on Feb 14, 2025Very nice High Tea for special occasion. Quite pricey so would only go there for special occasion. Staff were friendly and chatty, but not very attentive. Had to ask for drinks menu twice (first person obviously forgot.) Had to walk to other side of restaurant to order second drink as no staff were in the vicinity for some time.More infoAlluvialPrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• Melbourne CBD•3.5
