Exceptional food, some of the best we've ever tasted. Staff were friendly and efficient. Restaurant had a really good vibe, intimate but with a good atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon.

We were very impressed with the food at Cheals and the wine recommendation was superb.

Another well presented theme night. Excellent value and quality. Dish of the night was the beef pie, it also seemed to be the most popular. Well filled with tender flavoursome beef and served with a generous portion of mixed vegetables. The meal was completed with a modest portion of bread and butter pudding,followed by freshly brewed tea. All in all a nice way to celebrate St. Patrick's day.

Not been here for many years. Belated birthday Sunday lunch with a friend. Only us in the Bistro at 13.00, it got busier from 14.0. Excellent choice of help yourself starters called Market Table great idea. Then it's either Roast Beef or Chicken for main with lots of vegetables. Good wine list but expensive. I have booked again.

Beautiful presentation. The scones were delicious. The clotted cream and jam only brought out more of the delightful flavor of the scones. I have had an opportunity to try multiple different scones from different places and this is my favorite. Highly recommend. The sandwiches were also delicious.
