We were a party of 9 celebrating a significant birthday in the restaurant, as a quiet Monday lunchtime it felt like we were private dining! The acoustics in the room were perfect, as we are large party everyone could hear each other speak! All the staff from the bar when we arrived to the restaurant were welcoming, professional, efficient & friendly. The food was delicious & enjoyed by all. A very happy birthday celebration

Easter Sunday afternoon tea - what a treat! Loved the cakes and sandwiches and we each got a bag of chocolate eggs at the end.

I just love all things about Cantley House Hotel. The staff are so accommodating and no request is too much. I don’t have any specific dietary requirements but I am fussy with what I like but they don’t bat an eyelid and are happy to make swaps for me. It’s my favourite place to go for afternoon tea. I’ll certainly be back again 👌🏻

The hotel is very luxurious, and this extends into the Orchid Tea Room. We were greeted at the door and shown to our table, the service throughout the meal was spotless. There was always somebody available to assist in offering more tea or sandwiches. We had the vegan and the vegetarian afternoon tea, both were amazing, all of the food was high quality, really well prepared.

I agree with previous comments that the sandwiches were a bit dry, some lacking enough filling - the Ting (the Shard) might be a good place for inspiration. Service was spot on, nothing to complain about.
