First time here and can say I wasn’t disappointed had the sharer and it was huge good value for money and complimentary soup to start amazing thanks

A welcome pub lunch when walking the SDW. Very steep path down so worth thinking about whether you want to walk back up afterwards or find another route from the pub. You have to order at the bar which wasn’t made clear to us on arrival. The starters make good “small plates”. Excellent squid! And nice rose by the glass!

The food at the Fig Tree was delicious as normal together with great attentive service. We would highly recommend.

We were fortunate to be able to be out in the glorious garden, at the foot of the Downs, in the sunshine -- absolutely brilliantly looked after by every single member of staff (and the kitchen). Thank you very kindly.

Would always recommend Shandiz if you like Iranian/mediterranean food. The food is excellent and the staff are helpful and pleasant. I have been several times at lunchtime and never been disappointed.
