Fantastic food, without being pretentious or over-complicated in any way. I've marked ambience down a little, only because the restaurant was criminally almost empty on a Friday afternoon. We've been here a number of times, and always had excellent food. In fact, it's probably our favourite restuarant at the present time, and that includes the ones we frequent in London. If you like good food, beautifully cooked and well-presented, come and eat here. Use it, or we may we lose it.

Always a pleasure to meet and eat at The Angel. Food is great and delivered with a smile. We shall continue to use it as a central venue to catch up with ‘old’ friends!!

Sunday lunch was so delicious, all the food was just incredible and we really enjoyed it . Ambience was wonderful and all the staff were very attentive and polite. Definitely recommend a visit for brunch , lunch or the evening tasting menu.

We had a stop on our way to Ramsgate and we were very pleased with the pub. Great food, friendly service and lovely pub. It has a lovely garden and pla area. It’s fog friendly too. Highly recommended. The only little hitch was we couldn’t book for 7 of us by phone. A few of our a tried for days before but no answer. So we had to book 2 tables for 4 on opentable and hoped we could get the tables together. But it was no problem for the staff to seat us all together.
