Outstanding restaurant- beautifully executed menu, the flavours and combinations are sublime. Excellent service with a smile and one of the absolute best Indian restaurants we have ever visited.

Great meeting place for brunch, lunch or afternoon tea. Fresh tasty home cooked food, wide choice of drinks. Servers attentive without being overly so. Lovely spot to have a meal inside or coffee and cake outside in the garden, either in the sun or shade. A go to spot for all occasions.

We've eaten at the Poet on a number of occasions. The food is consistently of a high standard and the staff are always very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.

It was lovely to be back at my wedding venue to show my friend around. The food was good, however the cakes and bread for the sandwiches were slightly on the drier side and the bread used for the cream cheese and cucumber had been cut with the crust left on from what seemed like very basic white bread, which I wouldn’t expect from somewhere like this. The cakes also didn’t match what was on the menu. I don’t think I got my baileys and espresso cheesecake which I was really looking forward to. A shame, as I had a lovely afternoon tea here back in 2023 and was expecting the same quality today but unfortunately it fell a little flat this time.
