Amazing food, the most polite and attentive owners and staff. It’s an experience to try food here, it’s not generic Chinese food, it’s cooked with high end produce and a lot of skill. you could close your eyes and be transported by taste and be on holiday.

Wonderful friendly helpful service. Food was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed my Roast Beef.

I've been to the Ship a few times, but not for a meal before - and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was excellent and the staff were so accommodating and very well versed in what they had to offer. The food was lovely, and the portions weren't crazy big. The low buzz of people outside with the ocean view and sounds made this a lovely dining experience! Can't wait to come back again :)

On arrival we enjoyed a lovely wine and champagne upstairs on the terrace. We browsed the menu although we had ordered the fixed courses but enjoyed looking through the array of unusual choices. We were shown to our table and it was then the sublime and brilliance of food began to arrive. It was so refreshing the plates were hot which many exclusive restaurants forget and it makes such a difference when you are a slow eater. The flavours were outstanding and the quality of produce was out of this world. The pace of each course was perfect and after 3 hours we hadn't even considered we had been there that long. The ambience of the restaurant was truly perfect and the tables spread so you din't feel you were dining with other guests. All in all a truly magical evening and the staff were lovely, we will be returning as it was our first time and will not be our last. We highly recommend.

Lovely pub/restaurant and food was superb. Was let down by the lack of decoration for Valentines night though. A few crepe paper hearts. Music was good though and service wonderful.
