Fabulous service from friendly, knowledgeable staff. Food was amazing as usual. Had the pie of the day this time, steak and Stilton. Masses of chunky steak in an amazing beefy Stilton gravy with a large puff pastry top…yummy beyond words. Others in the group had lamb bhuna, veg bhuna and steak. We were all thoroughly impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. The restaurant was full barring a table or two (we had an early sitting) and the service appeared to be the same for everyone. Second to none. A must go to place to eat. The chef deserves a very big pat on the back and a pay rise!!

The Mason's Arms provides pub food to a very high standard and is reasonable value, we will be going again and we certainly recommend it.

We visited about 3 weeks ago and went back for Sunday lunch. Great food and value. The lamb was tasty and the mixed and cauliflower cheese amazing. We will be back when next in the area. Thanks for having the Guinness zero at the right temperature.

A friend and I met here for lunch as it was a midway point for each of us. The menu looked fab (which was another reason for booking) but we only ate from the sandwich menu on this occasion. However, we will be back with friends to try the full lunch menu in a few weeks time. The pub had a lovely vibe to it and the staff were great.

Had a pleasant Sunday lunch at the Bathurst Arms. The food was very good, could have been a bit hotter. The garden by the stream is very nice. A ten percent service charge is added to the bill.
