- JJeffVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined todaySometimes you can go out in San Francisco, spend a lot of money and get mediocre food. This wasn't one of those times. Every dish we had at Delfina, from the vegetable custard and chicken-liver bruschetta appetizers and the savory salad to the pappardelle with duck sugo and the braised short rib was absolutely delicious. All served by a warm and engaging staff that seemed genuinely pleased we were there. Delfina been around for long enough that people are tempted to take it for granted, but I never will again. Amazing meal, one of the best I can remember in SF.More infoDelfina RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Mission District•4.8

- MMartaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •29 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoOutstanding food and service. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was great, she offered suggestions and ensured that my meal was prepared without garlic. We laughed about how loud the music was and she had it turned down a bit and even put a favorite song on the playlist. We love Acquarello, the parent company of Sorella. Sorella is continuing the tradition with superb food “in the family”. We started with the tuna crudo with fresh anchovies and tonnato sauce. Beautiful presentation and it tasted even better than it looked. Every bite had another flavor profile all of which worked perfectly with each other. I had the spaghetti alla chitarra, with clams and fennel. I am a big fan of linguine with clams and this was a very interesting version. They added fennel and lots of different herbs and spices, the flavor exploded in your mouth. My husband had the drunken mafaldine with braised beef cheeks. The beef checks were very tender and melted in your mouth. We shared the gelato for dessert which was a perfect ending. They also brought some complimentary candy at the end of the meal. Especially liked the passion fruit. The wine list had a lot of interesting wines by the bottle and glass. Highly recommend Sorella, we will definitely be back.More infoSorellaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Russian Hill•4.6
- EEmilySan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews4.0Dined on May 19, 2025Excellent food and lovely craft cocktails, great ambiance and restaurant vibe, the service was friendly but we would have ordered twice as much if staff were more attentive. We’ll be back when we can take our time. Great spot!More infoFlores - Union StreetPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Marina / Cow Hollow / Presidio•4.4
