We were unsure what to order, and our server, appeared out of nowhere with several simple questions: 1. Have you been here before? 2. Do you have any food allergies? With a nod, and a thumbs up, he left away armed with 3 pieces of information, we wanted to start with a soup, we had not been there before and there were no food allergies. He understood the assignment. In a full flurry of excitement, the server's kitchen gods worked their magic to produce several dishes that delighted. Do I remember what they were? No. Where they life changing? Yes. Soup that was made with a creamy white broth, with clams and hot oil. Shrimp dumplings, with radishes! The chicken and then the fish! So good! We were stuffed. We were happy. Never again did we see the superhero that asked us those 2 easy questions, and that's fine. He knows he did us right.

During a recent client gathering at Bistro 888, located within the InterContinental San Francisco, we were thoroughly impressed by the sophisticated ambiance, exceptional service, and delightful offerings. The lounge's contemporary design, with warm lighting and comfortable seating, provided an ideal setting for both relaxed conversations and professional engagements. The happy hour menu showcased a variety of artisanal cocktails and gourmet small plates. The cocktail selection was equally impressive, with unique options like the Italian Mojito and Eau De Vin, offering a refreshing twist on classic favorites. Service was attentive and knowledgeable, with staff ensuring our experience was seamless from start to finish. Bistro 888's upscale atmosphere, delectable menu, and outstanding service make it a top choice for business gatherings and social occasions. We look forward to returning and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a refined happy hour experience in San Francisco.
