Beautiful restaurant with wonderful ambiance and excellent food.

We have been to this restaurant many times, even though we do not live in WI. We always make Eno Vino in downtown as one of the restaurants we are going to have dinner at when we visit Madison, WI. The food choices are always great. The service always above and beyond. The staffs well versed in describing each food. “Vance B.” was our server during our visit yesterday. He has a small Homer Simpson button on his uniform, which makes it unique and pops up. The only drawback back we had was the ambiance due to the guests from the area’s prom night. It’s a little bit louder, and some awkwardness due to guests not familiar with the menu nor the style of the foods that being served, as a tapas or the portion is for sharing. Therefore, we had to hear the same explanation over and over again from different servers to the different prom groups/parties, and on how the young guests behaved when they found out this is not the place for them.

Beautiful views, acoustics not so great. Had a table next to us that was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. Appetizers were great, our strip steaks were very tough, but the tenderloin was great. Service was very good.

It was ok. Catfish was the best. Both rare steaks we ordered was given to us medium. Old fashioned was passable.

Lucille never disappoints. My partner and I go regularly, and the staff is always incredibly thoughtful and accommodating of my hearing loss—seating us in spots where I can comfortably engage in conversation. Ally, the GM, even reached out before our last reservation to let me know about a planned special event and the expected increase in noise. I was aware of it and am grateful for the care she gave. As expected, everything turned out great. It’s also heartening to see them support good causes. And as always, the food is excellent - I’m a fiend for the steel pan pizza. Great food, great people, great atmosphere.
