- SSantiagoNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI recently dined at La Grande Boucherie, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we entered, we were enveloped by a warm, sophisticated atmosphere with elegant décor that immediately set the tone for a memorable evening. The staff was attentive and welcoming, making us feel like honored guests throughout our meal. What really stood out, aside from the food, was the impeccable service. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful wine pairings and checking in just the right amount. The entire experience was refined yet relaxed, making it a perfect setting for both intimate dinners and larger celebrations. La Grande Boucherie is a true gem for anyone seeking a taste of authentic French cuisine in a chic yet inviting environment. I’ll definitely be returning to savor more of their delightful dishes and enjoy the outstanding hospitality. After the class, we had dinner and the food was amazing as well. I highly recommend this experience!More infoAunt Jake's Pasta ExperiencePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Italian• Upper East Side•4.9
- NNORMANNew York City •14 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a terrific experience at Twin Tails and gave it five stars, which is a rare rating for us to give. The decor is elegant. The staff was attentive without being fawning and knowledgeable and articulate. The service and pacing was perfect. The individual items are all expensive, but the portions are generous, and since we had only two entrees the bill turned out beneath 100/per person (tax and one cocktail included). We had two entrees (duck and salmon pot) , one vegetable dish (long beans), one noodle dish (glass noodles) and two souffles for four people. Eating family style, that was ample food. The duck was delicious. it was beautifully presented and sufficiently different to be interesting, as was the salmon, which had a gently spicy sauce. The long beans were interesting and attractive if not particularly adventurous; the glass noodles were glossy; both sides were precisely prepared and well seasoned. The mocha and pistachio souffles were a perfect conclusion to the meal . We recalled that the French culinary influence on Vietnam was far stronger than on Thailand, and that shows up in the sauces, which brought the food a notch above regular fare. Our quibbles are minor ones-- the noise level is too high; while the decor and window views are stunning, with central park and Columbus Circle in view, entering and exiting through an upscale shopping center is somehow bad for one's digestion!More infoTwin TailsPrice: Expensive• Southeast Asian• Upper West Side•4.7
- ATAlexTVIPDurham/County Durham •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food and the venue is fantastic. The staff in the reception and bar are great, good cocktail selection (the spicy margarita is spicy as hell but great) and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. The starters are amazing - lobster toast was unreal and the steaks as expected are the main event. The bone in sirloin honestly isn’t my favourite, it’s hung and dried to long but the ribeye and the strip or the fillet are great - share a big cote de boeuf just avoid the bone in is my recommendation.More infoQuality MeatsPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7
- JJonathanNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWas better than expected. Chicken parm on point, feeds more than four people. Creme Brule corn, amazing, speechless. Was loud, but it's New York and it's great food.More infoQuality Italian - New YorkPrice: Expensive• Italian• Midtown West•4.7
