DEXTER is a no rules approach to American BBQ brought to you by Adam Goldblatt, Sam and Tom Peasnell. Our meatery features the best Australian produce which is treated the right way. Chefs Tom (Pitt Cue Co, London) and Adam (Homeslice, London) pay homage to the low and slow traditions of American BBQ utilising smoking, chargrill techniques and pair this with flavours from Mexico, China, France and alike. The philosophy is a meat first approach, where a dish is formulated from the unique characteristics of the meat (or vegetable) for a truly unique meat experience. Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Bread is baked daily and all desserts, pastries and ice cream are all made on the premises using quality ingredients.

    Myself and my brother have eaten at Dexter regularly for several years, bringing friends, family and work colleagues. The food is incredible (it's hard to go past the brisket, but all of the dishes are amazing) and the friendly personable service is a delight. Can't recommend Dexter highly enough. We'll continue to visit.

    Cosy little Italian restaurant which serves excellent food combined with good service. Mains was delicious followed by the best pavlova we have ever had.

    My friend and I had an amazing night out! Having diner in the Olivine winebar is a very special experience. Extremely warm welcome from the friendly Claudia who was our host/waitress on the evening. She gave us great food suggestions and accurate service. The sommelier is very knowledgeable and all the wines we had were from outstanding quality. We specially enjoyed the fact to be able to drink a glass of Premium wine so you aren’t stuck with a bottle of the same. Overal very friendly staff and a special location to dine. I can highly recommend.
