Best Date Night Restaurants in La Paz

We had the most wonderful late lunch on the last day of our stay in Madrid. The restaurant is elegant, the service excellent, and the food worthy of its Michelin status. We started with the extraordinary guacamole, which was carefully prepared at our table by the superb Alvaro (see photo). He said that the avocados are from Málaga, which has only been growing them for about ten years. The avocados are wonderfully enhanced by the semi-dried tomatoes, edamame, sunflower seeds, and crunchy tempura, For a sort of main course we both ordered the amazing club sandwich with Baeri caviar! We've never had anything quite like it. We were seated inside (so hot & sunny outside) by a window, as we requested. When we were ready to leave Alvaro suggested we walk onto the terrace. Magnifico! We will come back to Dani every time we're in Madrid, which we hope will be often.

Tatel is a large, fun, lively, restaurant with good food and excellent service. There is a DJ and a small floor show breaks out once in a while with singers doing their best ABBA and Spice Girls imitations. The energy and noise levels are high, so if you’re looking for a quiet dinner, this isn’t the place, but if you want a fun evening out with your high-energy friends, this is it! People are fairly well-dressed and come to be seen. Service is polished and professional.

Great food , ambience, value. Service was great but given the fact that it was only 1 waiter for the whole terrace it started great and by the end of the dinner it went to average. Too many tables for 1 waiter. Asked for water and had to notify the waiter again about the water. But in general the attention of the server was amazing. Simply, she couldn’t handle great service for all the tables at the same time.
