Best Date Night Restaurants in Washington Avenue Coalition / Memorial Park

A Houston staple ! Grace’s is a true gem , great food and great service. I take all my friends and family to Grace’s when they come visit. I’ve tried many items on the menu and I’ve never been disappointed. Definitely make reservations if you can because it’s always packed !

Confortable seating, great ambiance, live music and the Habanero maker on weekends were a super plus addition to our celebration dinner. Will recommend this unique restaurant.

We celebrated a birthday here on a Thursday night. All of the wait staff were cordial and attentive, the food was very good, and the prices were shockingly reasonable (much lower than I expected). Cocktails generally $14-$16 which is pretty standard. Salads $14, entrees $30s and most expensive item was a filet in the $40s as I recall. There was a pianist and singer on Thursday which could have been a bit lower in volume but wasn't insanely loud. The seating is rather varied and interesting. I will definitely be back, it was a very pleasantly pleasing atmosphere with great food at a great value.
