    Succotash Prime may be one of the finest restaurants in the DC area (even if they do rate themselves 'casual'). The combination of Southern Steakhouse/comfort foods, with a slight Asian fusion, was outstanding. We had the pleasure of being served by a great waiter, Kwame. He was perfectly attentive to detail, with just the right amount of care, without being overbearing. My compliments to the manager, Andrea, who had her entire staff hustling and even checked up on us 3 times during our meal in a packed dining room. The food was nothing short of outstanding. I had one of the best ribeye steaks ever. My wife had a great salmon. My compliments to the cooks!! We paired those entrees with the dirty rice, and the 'seasonal side,' a watermelon peanut salad. Just fantastic. Don't miss their "Coffee and Cigarettes" whiskey cocktail. Such a great presentation, whiskey in an ashtray with a candy cigarette. The Banana pudding finish was so excellent. Definitely will be back.
