Best Restaurants for Birthdays in North Mountain

My friend and I were treated wonderfully from the moment we were greeted at the hostess until we left. Our server Nicole was very well informed, attentive, and had great suggestions. I wasn’t sure which wine I wanted so Nicole suggested I sample two different wines and the man from the bar brought them over. Once I made my decision my glass was immediately brought over. The food was brought to us in a timely manner but never had a rushed feeling. My friend and I relaxed, chatted, had a great time. Shared a salad per our server’s suggestion which was excellent! The best Caesar I have ever had. She made recommendations and we ended up splitting the filet mignon and scallops which were both perfectly seasoned and cooked. The squash ,potatoes and veggies which came with the entrees were outstanding. Then we split an order of the butter cake, also Nicole’s suggestion and it was 5 stars. The ambience was so nice and walking in the smell of their coffee bar was wonderdul. And I don’t drink coffee! I will definitely be back soon .

The sun was brutal where we were sitting. The music was turned up a bit too much.

We had a great experience all around. The style and ambiance is fun and interesting, upscale without being stuffy. Our server V was very fun. She knew the menu well and gave us very helpful insight on both food and wine choices.

We love Steak 44! Every single worker is so friendly, we were seated right next to a wall of glass where we could watch the kitchen staff work their magic. The food was incredible in taste, and the portions were just right. We went there for an anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. The service was amazing, and we never waited long for any of our food to come out or for our check to be brought out at the end, or the for the server to run the card. Our water glasses were never even close to empty, someone was always there to refill the glasses at about half empty. We will absolutely be going back. Can't say enough positive things about Steak 44.

Started off with great service. The waiter knew how to make us feel well taken care of and had all the right parings and flow for the food. We will definitely be back.
