Dining at the Mendenhall Inn was a pleasure on a Surf& Turf Wednesday. The service was attentive, the food really excellent. Especially the crab stuffed mushrooms to start and the Bananas Foster and Irish Coffee, created table side Flambé for a spectacular dessert course. Filet & Crabcake was enjoyed, as was a gorgeous ly prepared glazed 1/2 duckling. Drinks and wine were all enjoyable too. This is a great place for a special occasion or special date night.

Wow, never had Rick as our server and didn't know that he is actually friendly and witty. Have seen him in the restaurant and he appeared quiet and soft spoken. We struck up a nice conversation, from food, the flatware ... to college. Rick was attentive and catered to all our needs. We had the special for Monday, Surf & Turf (glad that there are options for this). The shrimp scampi was pretty good. The pumpkin mushroom soup, our favourite, was a little too sweet to our taste, still it's good. Always like their salmon, it's done just right, without any fishy smell. We had a wonderful dinner there, as always. This time was exceptionally entertaining. Thank you.
