An understated storefront hides a coveted skyline view—just one of the many ways you could underestimate this longtime cafe on Mount Baker’s main drag.     Was visiting family and came here for dinner. This was our first time eating here and we were all very impressed. Every bite of all plates were delicious and perfectly seasoned (something rare in Seattle). Nothing pretentious about the food, just fresh ingredients prepared in contemporary format. Wine list was solid and had a great choice of half bottles as well as bottles so you can try multiple wines to pair with the food. I know my family member will be going back as will we when we come back to visit!

    La Fontana is a real treasure. The setting in an old red brick building is perfect for an old style Italian restaurant. The food was wonderful . Our server was Jeff and although they were busy on a Friday night, the service was great! Can’t wait to go back.

    Walking into 2120 feels like stepping into a polished PNW supper club. We ordered calamari & octopus; flash fried rings & slow pouched tentacles arrived side by side. They disappeared so quickly that we forgot to capture it on photo. Clam bowl, a battalion of bottlenecks steams in white wine broth, portions were generous with crusty bread, King salmon was the star if the night; thick coral pink fillet, cooked between rare & medium, excellent! Service elevates the meal from satisfying to memorable. Staff somehow divined a birthday from profile and surprised our table with pipping hot churros & dark chocolate fudge & a handwritten card- hospitality that feels sincere! Hope you get to taste the pristine seafood. Bon appetite!
