Best Restaurants for Anniversaries in Magnolia

Four of us met for Happy Hour on a Tuesday around 4:30 with a reservation. The views were gorgeous, and the cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were excellent. The check-in process was a bit frustrating—slow elevator and only one party allowed up at a time. Despite requesting outdoor seating, we were told no four-tops were available, and a manager repeated what the server had already explained. Service was friendly but stretched—one order never arrived, though it was removed from the bill. Great atmosphere and food, but some service and logistics could use improvement.

My first time there - exquisite i every way....our server Justin, could not have been more amazing for my sweetheart birthday girl - drinks fabulous - each dish a masterpiece. Waterfall and ponds - what?! Love Love Love and will be back to this incredible place - did I mention the view? ON the water!!!!!!!!

The service at this restaurant was the best I’ve ever had. Thank you, Christopher! The steaks were wonderfully prepared. We celebrated a college graduate and the decorated our table and hand made a custom card. Then they treated our graduate with a dessert sample. It was quite amazing!

Incredible dinner with too many good choices! Starters were the carrot ginger soup- a fresh tasting vegan potage perfectly seasoned and the other we had was a thinly sliced orange salad with fennel, parmesan and more delectable ingredients. Risotto was next with ample tender mushrooms in the flavorful rice/cheese base-best in the City. With the red wine we both chose, the rack of lamb that was juicy, fresh (not gamey)and surrounded by delicious turnips. We almost could not eat another course, but the dark chocolate and ginger pear sorbet was irresistible so we happily shared every last bite. The service is attentive and paced our courses so that we could enjoy the conversation and each dish. We will be back soon!

Drinks and appetizers were great. Entrees were so so. I probably won’t go back for dinner.
