Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Cape May

Great service from front waitress Danica, as well as maitre d’, back waiter, and especially, the cheerful, friendly, attentive busboy. Lovely, charming atmosphere, including a couple of birthday celebrations. Food was great: grilled oysters were excellent, scallops were very good, and the halibut was amazing; presentation in each case was beautiful, and the Key Lime pie was unique and delicious. We will be back to explore the menu, and the charming bar.

Delicious chilian sea bass & duck. Corner table somewhat tight. Good service and, most important, we were not rushed. Our favorite restaurant in Cape May.

Overall, it was a nice experience. I've never been here before and chose to make a reservation on a whim. It's very close to the Cape May waterfront and I could nearly see the ocean from my table. They catered to my desire for a mocktail instead of alcohol and it was lovely. The cranberry apple salad was very good, maybe a tad overdressed and the chocolate ice cream hit the spot. My entree though, for the cost, wasn't quite a hit with me; it wasn't bad but didn't "hit the spot" so to speak. I'd go again, because it wasn't a bad experience and maybe it was just a one off (or the meal just wasn't what I wanted). You will have to pay for parking, but it's worth a try.
