Loved this little beach-side restaurant. Food was fantastic made with incredible care. Relaxed atmosphere.

Table for four. Miss the Reuben, which used to be great, so had the Wagyu burger instead. The chips were superb - really crunchy with soft interior. The burger was excellent - cooked just right - and the meat was really good. The pickles, sauce, lettuce, etc set the meat off beautifully. Would definitely have again. Friend from Queensland also had the burger - another winner. Friend from Tasmania had the grilled chicken wrap and chips. The chips were an immediate winner while the wrap scored highly for the quantity of chicken and other contents. My wife had the Spaghetti Gamberi e Zucchini and this was declared to be very good. We all had a glass of wine (each different) and these were very satisfactory. We all went through the store itself and the interstaters were very impressed with the range and apparent quality of the stocked products.

What an amazing little find. Very cosy and charismatic little place with background jazz playing. Luckily we had a booking as it was packed out for a Wednesday night. The reviews I’d read were spot on. Service was amazingly friendly and helpful. Can recommend the cocktails with their unique ice blocks containing fruit or cucumber! We shared 3 dishes and yuzu sorbet for dessert. Loved the grilled miso eggplant and mixed sashimi carpaccio and sorbet. The hojicya smoked duck was good also. Will definitely return as i need to try the tempura broccolini and beef tataki!!
