We had a wonderful dining experience at Plumed Horse. Our party had the four-course prix-fixe dinner and the waitstaff was very attentive throughout. Every dish was delicious. All of us had the souffle for Course 2 which was absolutely spectacular. The entrees we had were the Pork Chop, Halibut and Rib Eye. Again, all were outstanding. Two of our party were celebrating a wedding anniversary, for which we received a complimentary round of champagne with Course 4 (dessert). This was greatly appreciated. I can’t think of any way the experience could have been better. Yes, I only gave it a Very Good for value (it IS expensive, but the quality justifies that) and noted that the noise level was moderate (it was quiet by the end of our dinner). We hope to dine here again to celebrate the next life "milestone" we encounter.

Puesto in Santa Clara is definitely not your average taco joint. This place leans upscale, perfect for business lunches or a more refined taco experience. The vibe is modern and polished, with comfortable seating and a setting that’s great for conversation. Now, be warned: the tacos are $10–$12 each and come à la carte. No sides, no combo plates. If I were just grabbing a quick bite, I’d be annoyed paying nearly $30 for two tacos without rice or beans. But in the context of a business meal or nice lunch out, it makes more sense. I tried the short rib tacos and they were incredible. Rich flavor, well-balanced, and clearly made with attention to detail. So while I still love my $2 roadside tacos, Puesto fills a different need—one that involves good food and a nice setting.

Great customer service. The steak was a bit cold. The appetizers had some sauces we really did not like (asparagus/mushrooms), the skinny fries were awesome. The most delicious part was the bread basket! Warm and crunchy... The service is great, very attentive and polite. We had a good time. Would recommend if you want to splurge, but you can have great steak in another place for a better price. I did not think their steak was super special for that price.
