We even employ our own head ranger to keep the deer herds on the land we manage under control, and have our own deer larder in the Cotswolds where this amazing product is processed.Our fish comes from day boats in Cornwall.We work with the seasons, ensuring the very best truly local veg is with us the day after its picked. The food and service was all wonderful. Great quality food with great flavours and the service was really good. Friendly staff and the choice of food on menu was good and varied. Something for everyone

The food on the Carvery was outstanding. Complements to the Chef and his team. All the front of house staff were also very helpful. This is good value for money.

Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.
