Best Lunch Restaurants in West Point

Had a wonderful dinner - great food, excellent wait staff, and beautiful surroundings.

Excellent server, Nick T., responsive to special request and food sensitivities. Food was very good for Gastropub fare. I had the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The bacon and onion jam was a delicious addition. The option of outdoor seating was nice but we remained indoors because of the threat of rain.

This was a lovely meal with fantastic service! The food and decor are perfect! The Dessert plate came with a candle and writing of Happy Birthday for our friend . The only draw back is the noise level-- as it is such a great restaurant that may be unavoidable.

An excellent lead-in to an evening with Hudson Valley Shakespeare, especially if rain threatens the picnic you hoped to enjoy. Good buffet options nicely prepared, including nuts and cheese and crackers to have with a drink and dessert. No entree for vegetarians, though, could be an obstacle for some. Comfortable and attractive seating options indoors and out. Nice simple wine list. I'll definitely return if I am attending a performance. Unclear about whether regular restaurant offerings are different.

Such a cool place! Our food was so delicious! The Thayer has so much history, the view was amazing.
