Best Lunch Restaurants in Washington Township

Love this restaurant! We were celebrating my birthday and the chef came out to give us a special appetizer and wished me a very happy birthday. Our waiter was attentive and sweet. The food and cocktails are consistently excellent. Would absolutely recommend!

I came to Piccolo Bistro for a late dinner with my mom on Mother’s Day. The food was excellent and the service was attentive. The meal started with warm, fresh bread served with a beautiful olive oil/pesto/grated cheese sauce for dipping. For appetizers we shared the Beet Salad, which was not only packed with flavor but large enough for two. We also shared the Risotto Seafood balls in a creamy Saffron sauce, which we loved. For our main courses, my mom had Bronzino and I had the Veal Saltimbocca. Both were well seasoned, tender, and absolutely delicious. Finally, we shared a tiramisu. It was fresh, well presented and tasted of espresso as it should. Overall just a great experience on Mother’s Day! We will be back with friends.

We were delighted with our dining experience at the Ho Ho Kus Inn. It is a step back in time in ambiance in a historical mansion. We loved the small rooms which created a coziness and quiet atmosphere so uncommon in most restaurants today. The service was superb and the food generally excellent. If you're looking for a unique, romantic dining experience, Ho Ho Kus Inn is the place to go. Of all the many restaurants we have dined at in Bergen County, this is our favorite. We had a great dinner. Food was great and service was phenomenal. Our server, Swee, was excellent. The ambiance was very nice.
