Best Lunch Restaurants in Tuckerton

On a intermittently rainy day, it was a pleasure to enter the charming warmth of the Smithville Inn. While we were a little early for our reservation, we were greeted and invitied to sit in the historic lobby while our escort made preparation for us. We were led to a table with a scenic view of the water and presented with our menus. On this dreary day outside, the menu reflected some comfort foods including soup of the day selections that were hard to resist. We enjoyed creamy corn chowder and tomato bisque that warmed us inside and stimulated our taste buds for the Smithville burgers that followed. Our servers were ever attentive. One was in training and she was attentive to her mentor as well as to the customers. It was a delicious lunch and a nice respite from the rain.

Delicious as always! Great service and atmosphere. Baby friendly too, always a plus. The tuna tacos are 10/10.
