Within a beautiful Subiaco heritage building, a new neighbourhood wine bar has entered the scene on Hay Street. In the 1920s, the building was home to a provisions merchant owned by husband and wife Emily and Charles Lums. Their shop, EA Lums & Co, was a place for locals to grab quality ingredients from a family-owned shop. With the appointment of Nick Young as Head Chef, Lums offers a brand new, vino-friendly food offering.Nick’s resume boasts a wonderful mix of fine dining and funky neighbourhood eateries including Wildflower, Must, Bivouac and Lallah Rookh. Extremely happy with our lunch. Great service and amazing food quality. All dishes were absolutely delicious. We had the marinated octopus and steak tartare. Explosion of beautiful flavours in your mouth. The quality of meat for the lava stone experience was top notch. Love the way the restaurant is set up. Lovely decor and the booths make it feel like quite a private experience.

Nice food, well presented.loved the lamb rib starter. Staff friendly and helpful when ordering food. Found portion size quite good. Deserts a bit expensive but avacado chocolate moose was good. Have been here twice and will return.
