- GGerardVIPNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWhen we reserved we did not realize that on Wednesdays, a special deal is offered—three courses for $35. It was a true bargain! You can choose from a variety of appetizers and main meal. And several choices for dessert. All the courses were delicious. No one on our party of 5 had any issues with the size or taste of their meals. Our waitress was welcoming, friendly and efficient . We asked her to split the bill three ways. She did not even flinch and responded very quickly ‘of course’. When I reserved I asked to be in a quiet place because three in the party have some hearing loss. We were seated in the table next to the entrance to the porch but a wall isolated us from the noise out there. It worked out fine. This was our third time meeting our friends at Candela Cucina and it won’t be the last.More infoCandela CucinaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• New Bedford•4.7
- LLisaGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe visited on a Tuesday evening to take advantage of their dinner for 2 specials and were very pleased with everything we ordered. Starting out with the Piri-Piri Gulf Shrimp that was prepared with just enough spice to activate your taste buds and served with 2 pieces of focaccia to soak up all the delicious broth the shrimp was bathing in. Next we had the Portuguese pork Alentejana which was heavy on the cilantro and so flavorful with tender pieces of pork. The other entree I chose was the fish and chips. It consisted of a generous piece of white, fluffy haddock, accompanied by fresh Cole slaw and crispy fries. For dessert we opted for the chocolate cookie sundae which was served in a baking dish with plenty of whipped cream. Our server was so friendly and attentive to our needs even though she was handling the dining room by herself, she excelled at her job and kept everything flowing smoothly. Overall a great dining experience and will definitely be back again soon.More infoNew BeigePrice: Moderate• American• New Bedford•4.6

- MMegVIPGreater Boston •22 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 4, 2025Service was stellar! Our waitress was very attentive. Food was also very tasty- the new fried Brussels sprouts were very good. Only issue was the kitchen must have forgotten to fire our kid’s chicken tenders. She munched on her fruit and fries and legit the tenders came out last. It happens- she still ended up eating them all.More infoMoby Dick Brewing Co.Price: Moderate• Pub• New Bedford•4.6
