Best Lunch Restaurants in Itasca

Very noisy today as a big group occupied the entire outdoor area which limited use. Seemed to rush the food delivery by bringing our salad with the entree, making for a very crowed table and a “ hurry up, eat and get out” feel.

We had a lovely luncheon at Wildfire Schaumburg and truly enjoyed the warm atmosphere and attentive service. The appetizers were delicious and beautifully presented, and everyone appreciated the thoughtful menu options. Our entrées overall were quite good—my tenderloin, requested medium-well, was cooked just right and very flavorful. However, there was a bit of a hiccup with my brother-in-law’s steak. He had asked for it medium-rare, but it was served well-done with very little pink. When he brought it to the server’s attention, the explanation offered didn’t really acknowledge the difference in doneness, which led to some back-and-forth that unfortunately took up a bit too much time. He did his best to enjoy the dish, but found the texture difficult and eventually decided to have the corrected steak prepared to go. Despite that, we appreciated the effort made to address the issue, and we still had a lovely afternoon together. Looking forward to visiting again—with hopes for a more accurate steak next time!

Enjoyed a birthday celebration with my mom. Food was very good, service was very good as were the food recommendations.
