Fabulous Sunday Roast and brilliant value for money

A lovely meal the food was delicious and the service excellent, just a bit noisy as there was a large table of 8 diners next to us otherwise every thing was fine and will definitely be back.

Today was our first visit and the food was outstanding. We all had fish and chips which had been beautifully cooked with lovely batter. My dessert of Pear and Ginger pudding with clotted cream was so good that I had to forego the ice cream which I choose everywhere - that never happens! Definitely recommend this pub for its food and friendly staff.

Great atmosphere, lovely attentive staff, food was delicious. Have eaten here of an evening and Sunday lunch, both superb.

It was all good except the broccoli on my mother’s sea bass dish was cold. We explained this to the waitress but she wasn’t particularly interested. The Burberry financier dessert also had an extremely hard crust which was impossible to cut with a spoon.
