    Our first visit to the Darbar and we were not disappointed. The food & service were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We were a large group (mid week)and we all received our food at a similar time. Would definitely go back.

    We came to celebrate a family birthday and it was everything we could have hoped for. Delicious food served in a beautiful setting. The staff were extremely attentive and it was lovely to be able to have drinks in the pretty courtyard beforehand.

    Lovely buzzy atmosphere, very busy. Service was affected by an IT glitch, but the delay was dealt with professionally and smoothly. Maxine is the ultimate landlady, eyes in the back of her head and manages to chat to everyone. Thank you

    Lovely pub/restaurant and food was superb. Was let down by the lack of decoration for Valentines night though. A few crepe paper hearts. Music was good though and service wonderful.
