We had a birthday celebration lunch today st the Refectory. The ambience was serene and elegant inside, and the view from our seat was amazing. Our waiter was wonderful, always attentive to our table, and all of his service provided to our table was in timely manner. He was both, very pleasant and very professional. The food was absolutely delicious, and each of us loved our shared appetizers and our antree. The Refectory fries and the Cobb salad, turkey sandwich with garnish and salad, as well as the Birthday dessert for or our special guest, were top notch made and arranged. We loved the wine selection and the ice cream and warm chocolate cake with sprinkles was a real winner! Can't wait to go back!

I had never been here before but saw that they had both trout amandine and crepes on the menu. Everything was wonderful! We arrived super early and were just going to sit at the bar and have a drink before our reservation, but they seated us. Our server was gracious and knew just when to stop by to offer more bread or another drink or ask if we were ready to order. The food was delicious! I got the trout amandine but will return soon to get the brie crepe. Well worth the trip from Wilmington! They have sidewalk seating and it will be lovely to sit there when the weather is warmer. And it's good a very nice wine list. (As it should, since it calls itself a wine bar, but I've been to other wine bars that didn't deserve the name.) The only slight negative and it really wasn't much of a negative is that the food runners put the wrong plates in front of the wrong diners each time, oops. And the noise level is a little loud when the place is full. But those are minor quibbles. If it were closer to me, it would be my new favorite place!
