Bright and airy, with a vintage retro style and featuring distressed wooden tables topped in white marble, salvage greenhouse window frames and comfy linen banquettes, Salt continues Avoca’s emphasis on serving delicious, seasonal dishes with largely locally sourced ingredients. Salt's name comes its Salthill locale - which itself was derived from salt works that were once here - plus the nearby sea and, of course, the seasoning. As always a really great experience in the Purty! Some great value to be had in a lovely setting but as with everywhere in the world food prices have risen sharply, but the welcome and service is very good - ad is the standard of food they serve!

We had a lovely brunch,Fresh Orange juice and lemonade . We sat outside ,which was wonderful as it was a warm day. Staff very friendly and efficient. Nice clean toilets. Great location opposite Dun Laoghaire Dart station.
