We had a warm welcome onto the sunny terrace. The hotel has good music and a really cool vibe. The staff are attentive and professional. We both had the rhubarb mocktail which was a generous size and delicious. We both had chicken Caesar salad which was just about perfect. Crunchy lettuce medium boiled full of flavour eggs, the chicken was tender and lots of it. The service was faultless.

We wanted a quality experience for a special occasion and knew Ocean was under new management. The setting, menu and service were first class and the food outstanding. We also enjoyed speaking with Jamie, the owner/chef and hearing about plans for the future. Very happy birthday memories! We’ll be back.

Food is very good and overall good value other than scallops which were inexplicably expensive at £6 each. We ordered some out of curiosity and they were perfectly nice average sized scallops- so not six quids worth. Everything else was great and we will continue to visit the Beachhouse

A delicious breakfast. Great service and a really lovely setting for a reasonably priced meal.
