Horseshoe Grill in North Reading has been family-owned since the 1920s when it was originally a supper club for members only. That changed in 1957 and, since then, patrons have come from all over to sample the famous ribs that have made Horseshoe Grill an institution. The relaxing atmosphere inside makes it the perfect place to get to work on a rack of ribs, lobster Rangoon, Thai chili calamari or nachos.     My husband and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The host was very friendly and attentive even though the restaurant was busy. We sat at a table on their back patio which was lovely. Our server was amazing - very friendly and happy to have us there and she brought us complimentary prosecco since she knew we were there for a special occasion. We had cocktails, apps, salads and a homemade pasta dish - all were delicious! We took dessert home for later. Highly recommend LaRosa! Be sure to make a reservation if you don't want a long wait - they are very busy on weekends.
