The food was absolutely delicious. The snails were our group favourite, and we ordered more bread to soak up the deliciousness of the sauce. The drinks selectionwas varied enough to accommodate our different tastes. Splitting the bill was no trouble.

Had the "feed us" type menu. $55. Included 5 starters/appetizers, 1 pizza and 1 small dessert. Overall the food quality and taste was very good. The ingredients were fresh and makes you try things you may not ordinarily try. In terms of pizza. Only the 1 choice is a bit disappointing. I'd rather have 2 or 3 less entrees for perhaps 2 pizzas. The El Diablo pizza also had waaaaay too much fennel that was overwhelming. A shaving of cheese perhaps would have been better. Flavour wise was delicious, but quite small. Really nice feel to the place and was busy and not unreasonably loud. Overall it was very good and would go back again. I'd probably choose 3 pizzas and maybe 1 appetizer and you'd be better off price wise. $132 with a cider and beer. That's getting up there in price.

The Sidewood team could not have been more accommodating when having a very special birthday lunch for my wife. Matt the manager ensured the flowers were on a big table and popped over for a brief chat. The food was excellent, great portion size and fresh and ultra tasty. However it was Leanne our wait person who made the day, ensuring we had the correct wines, after a small tasting of others, to complement the meal choices. Excellent and outstanding and a valuable asset to Sidewood. She knew when to ask and what to ask and was ultra friendly and professional. Top day and brilliant restaurant and team.

Had a lovely experience at Mt lofty house for my partners birthday. The food, tea and views were first class and wpuld highly reccommend.

The food, wine and service here was fantastic. I highly recommend you try it out if you are ever in the area. We found the servings generous and outstandingly prepared. I hope we get to come back again soon and enjoy it another time.
